Chef Yui, founder and owner of A lot of Thai : Home cooking class

Yui

Yui has been teaching Thai cooking since 1999. She has also served as a guest chef and restaurant consultant for Thai restaurants internationally. From day one until today, she personally teaches every dish in every class to guarantee the highest quality instruction.

Her classes attract everyone from curious travelers and home cooks to professional TV chefs, executive chefs, culinary educators, and published food writers.

We established A Lot of Thai in 2001 with a small class size. Even though our business has grown over the years, we've decided to maintain this intimate setting to ensure the personalization and individual attention that each student deserves. What has sustained us for over two decades is simple. Word-of-mouth from happy students. That's it.

Although Yui is highly skilled and accomplished, her intent is not to show off, but rather to humbly teach the concepts of cooking.
Her unique blend of art and science makes cooking exciting, fun, and easy to follow. Students leave equipped with the skills and knowledge to recreate these delicious dishes at home.
